Subscription & Billing
Open Moimoney → tap the menu or settings → look for "Upgrade to Pro" or "Moimoney Pro". You'll see the plan options (Weekly, Yearly). Confirm your purchase through the App Store.
- If you were signed into Moimoney when you bought Pro: sign in with the same account on the new device and Pro should be restored automatically.
- If you bought Pro without signing in: sign into your Moimoney account first, then go to Settings → Restore Purchase to link your Pro status.
- Make sure you're using the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
Cancellation is handled through the app stores, not through Moimoney directly:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Moimoney → Cancel
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google — we can't process them directly.

Nothing gets deleted. Your data stays on your device. Cloud sync will pause when your Pro period ends, but you retain full access to all your local data, transaction history, and can still export to PDF/CSV. You'll revert to free tier limits for new items (categories, wallets, etc.) but existing data is never removed.
Try these steps in order:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Moimoney account that has Pro
- Go to Settings → Restore Purchase
- Ensure the App Store is signed in with the same account used for purchase
- Force-close and reopen the app
- Check your subscription is still active in your App Store subscriptions list
Sync & Multi-Device
Cloud sync requires two things: an active Pro subscription and a signed-in account. Check these:
- Are you signed into Moimoney? (Sync requires login)
- Is your Pro subscription active?
- Are you connected to the internet?
- Try force-closing and reopening the app — sync restarts on open
- Check your device storage isn't full
Yes! With Pro, you can log into the same Moimoney account on multiple devices. Both devices will sync to the same cloud data in real time. This is the recommended way to share finances with a partner. Note: One Pro subscription is needed, and it's tied to the account — both devices must be signed in to the same Moimoney account.
Yes, absolutely. Moimoney is offline-first. Any transaction you add without internet is stored locally and will automatically sync to the cloud once you're back online and the app is open. You won't lose anything.
If you were using Pro with cloud sync, your data should be in the cloud. On your new phone:
- Sign in to your Moimoney account
- If you have Pro, restore your purchase
- Wait for the initial sync to complete (may take a few minutes depending on data size)
AI Features
You can take a photo of a physical receipt or upload a PDF bank statement. The app sends it to Google Gemini AI, which extracts transaction details (amount, merchant, category) and auto-fills the transaction form. You review and confirm before saving. It requires a signed-in account and works with most receipts and non-password-protected PDFs.
Free users get 5 AI receipt scans and 5 AI insights as a lifetime limit (after signing in). To get more, upgrade to Pro — Pro subscribers get 100 AI receipt scans per month and ongoing AI insights. You can upgrade from within the app.
AI isn't perfect. You can edit any field in the transaction form before saving — just tap to correct the amount, category, date, or description. The AI scan gives you a starting point; you're always in control. If the scan was significantly wrong and you feel your credit was wasted, contact us and we'll review it.
Your receipt/statement data is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Per Google's API terms, your data is not used to train AI models by default. Google may temporarily retain data for abuse monitoring. We require explicit consent before sending any data to AI. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Data & Export
Go to the Report screen → look for the export button. You can export to PDF or CSV. Export is available on both free and Pro tiers, with no time limit on data range. CSV is great for importing into spreadsheets; PDF is great for sharing with an accountant.
Yes. You can delete your account directly from within the app settings. Once you delete your account, your cloud data will be removed completely from our servers. Local data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. For now, the AI receipt scanner can help you log multiple transactions from a bank statement PDF quickly. CSV import is a planned feature — if this is important to you, let us know so we can prioritize it.

A Wallet represents a financial account — your bank account, e-wallet, cash, crypto, etc. A Ledger is a broader container that groups wallets and transactions together. Think of a Ledger as a "book" — you might have one for personal finances and one for business. Free users get 1 ledger; Pro users get up to 5.
Yes, fully. Moimoney is offline-first — all data is stored on your device first. You can log, edit, and view transactions entirely offline. Cloud sync (Pro) kicks in automatically when you reconnect. AI features require internet.
Go to Settings → Reminders → Enable daily reminder. You can choose the time (morning or evening). The app will send a local notification reminding you to log your transactions for the day. Reminders work offline — they're stored locally on your device.
- Force-close and reopen the app

- If it keeps crashing, report the bug with details about what you were doing when it crashed, your device model, and OS version
